After visiting the lake and getting acquainted with the history, we continue our journey for an hour and a half in the direction of the population of Zipaquirá. The historic center of Santa Marta is now the main attraction of the city, which hides a rich history and architecture. It has been considered a national monument since 1963. The city's cathedral is America's first cathedral. Its construction began in 1765, but completion was delayed for many years, as English, French and Dutch pirates sacked the city more than 20 times. Then we will head to the Mirador de Taganga. Taganga is a typical fishing village located in a beautiful and quiet bay. From here boats depart to the neighboring almost wild beaches, far from the bustle and technology. Return to the hotel. Rest.

We continue our journey for about 10 minutes by car to the Cañaveral parking lot, where the walking tour of Tayrona begins. The hike will last about 1 hour from Cañaveral to the Arrecifes sector, then about 40 minutes more, visiting the beaches of Arenillas and La Piscina, as well as tropical dry forest, until we reach the famous Cape San Juan. time for lunch and enjoying the beautiful beach. The first trek, 7.6 km long, will begin from here. Halfway we will stop at the viewpoint of the three crosses to taste delicious exotic fruits and continue to the first hut, Adan o Alfredo, where we will spend our first night. During today's trek, you will enjoy the natural vodka pools that the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta offers us, in which we can cool off and take a cooling bath. Arrival at the camp. Rest

A new day will bring you a new adventure: after breakfast, your route will take you from the first camp to the second camp "Cabanha Viva", where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the Buritaka River while you wait for lunch to be prepared. After a short rest, your adventure will continue in the Sierra Nevada, bordering the indigenous town of the Kogi community called “Mutanyi”, and the path leads to the third camp “Paraiso Teyuna”, where we will spend the night. After visiting the city, we will descend to our third camp to have lunch, and then return to the second camp, where we will spend the night.
