Early in the morning you head to the airport for your flight to Pereira. Upon arrival, your excursion begins. We will visit the El Ocaso coffee farm for a “coffee-experience”, located approximately 1500 meters above sea level on the volcanic soils of the Central Mountain Range of the Colombian Andes. The tour is conducted in the company of a local expert who will show tourists the process of planting coffee and selective manual harvesting. After this we will roast coffee beans over wood in the kitchen of a typical country house, after which we will be able to enjoy real coffee. During the excursion we will visit several stations with beautiful views of nature and enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee. The tour ends with an observation of the coffee bean drying process and a visit to the processing plant. The tour will culminate with delicious coffee lemonade in the main house.
