Breakfast in the hotel. At the appointed time, a tour of the historical center of Bogota, called “La Candelaria,” begins. This excursion also includes a visit to the Gold Museum, where you can view approximately 34,000 pre-Columbian gold objects. Next is a visit to Casa de la Moneda and Donación Botero, where the works of master Fernando Botero, a Colombian artist with worldwide recognition in various artistic techniques such as painting, drawing and sculpture, are presented. The excursion will continue with a panoramic tour of the Plaza de Bolívar (Casa Nariño, Palacio Llevano and Palace of Justice). The tour ends with an ascent to Montserrat. Return to the hotel. Arrival and meeting at José Maria Cordova International Airport, transfer to the hotel. Next begins a city tour with a visit to Commune 13, as well as San Antonio Park, San Ignacio Square, the traditional Avenida La Playa, the Sculpture Park containing more than 20 sculptures donated by the master Fernando Botero, Los Deceos Park and the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex, as well as renovated Convention Center, former Macarena Arena. At the appointed time, start the tour to the municipality of Peñol, enjoying the diversity of its architecture and getting to know the city, where you can appreciate the colonial style. Later we will go to the majestic Piedra del Peñol rock, a 220 meter high monolith. After this we will visit the city of Guatape, famous for the details of the pedestals, drawings and relief paintings that decorate the houses of the city (this tour is carried out by motorcycle taxi). The tour will end with a visit to the Peñol and Guatapé reservoir, where you can enjoy the contrast between the green mountains and the mirrors of the water. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.
