Your cards. Our workflow.
Keep the corporate cards you already have. Travel Code issues a virtual card for every trip from your own card program, pays the hotel, and reconciles the expense — automatically.
“Switch to our card” is the #1 reason finance teams reject new travel tools.
Your bank rebates, credit line and treasury setup — gone.
Another card for employees to carry and lose.
Trip, card and expense live in three systems.
What happens with your card on a trip
Four steps, one system — and the card program stays yours.
-
1
Book
The traveler books any travel service in Travel Code — flights, hotels, rail, cars — inside your travel policy.
-
2
Card issued from your program
A single-use virtual card with amount, dates and merchant limits — issued by your existing card provider, not by us.
-
3
Hotel paid
The card reaches the hotel through PCI-certified partners — no card at the front desk.
-
4
Expense matched
The transaction meets the booking and the folio, and the expense reconciles itself.
Steps 2–3 need a card provider that issues virtual cards for us. If yours does not, the traveler pays with the card they already have — and step 4 still happens automatically.
Two ways to connect — both without changing your card.
Which one you get depends on what your card provider allows. The card check below tells you in ten seconds.
Full card-in-workflow
We pay for the trip with your card.
For every booking your card provider issues a single-use virtual card from your own program. We send it to the hotel and match the charge to the trip — nobody touches a card or a receipt.
- Virtual card per booking from your own card program
- Hotel payments delivered through PCI-certified partners
- Automatic matching of card, booking and invoice
- Transactions, policy checks and ERP sync
Needs a card provider that lets us issue virtual cards from your program — or the Travel Code card.
Data & reconciliation
Your team pays with your card, we do the paperwork.
Travelers pay with the corporate cards they already carry. We pull in the transactions, check them against policy, match them to the trip and the receipt, and sync them to your ERP.
- Real-time or daily card transactions
- Policy checks on every transaction
- Receipt and booking matching, ERP sync
- Virtual cards — available with the Travel Code card
Works with any Visa, Mastercard or Amex corporate card — 12,000+ banks and card providers connect via Plaid on the Scale plan.
Your issuer’s rewards and rebates stay with you.
We add trip-level controls, matching and sync to NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks and SAP.
Controls and budgets per trip
Amount, dates and merchant limits follow the booking, not a monthly card limit.
Automatic reconciliation
Card transaction, booking and invoice are matched without anyone chasing receipts.
ERP sync
Coded, matched expenses flow to NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks and SAP.
Rewards stay yours
Cashback, rebates and points keep flowing from your issuer under your existing terms.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to switch cards?
No. Keep the corporate cards you already have. Travel Code connects to your card program — your issuer, credit line and rebates stay as they are.
Which issuers support virtual cards?
A virtual card per booking needs an issuer that allows cards to be issued from your program by a third party — check yours above. If yours does not, the Travel Code card covers it. Any Visa, Mastercard or American Express corporate card connects for transactions, policy and reconciliation.
What happens with hotel payments?
For issuers in full mode, a single-use virtual card is issued for the stay and delivered to the hotel through PCI-certified partners. Most hotels accept virtual cards; where one does not, the traveler pays on arrival and the expense is matched as usual.
Is card data stored?
Card data is never stored on Travel Code servers. Card numbers stay with your issuer and the PCI-certified partners that deliver them to hotels.
Does it work in the EU?
Yes. European corporate cards connect the same way as US ones — check yours above to see which mode applies.
Travel Code is a software platform. Cards are issued by the respective issuers under their own terms. Virtual card issuance from your program requires issuer authorization and is available for listed issuers only.
