Day 3 – Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. You can additionally book excursions: Excursion to the city of Tigre and the Northern Zone. We are going to Venice of Argentina, as this cozy, beautiful town of wealthy people is called. We are going to Tigre, which is located near the capital of Argentina (40 km) on the islands and along the Rio de La Plata River Delta, and it is here that several rivers merge into one. On a tourist boat we will stroll past luxurious mansions, green parks, numerous restaurants and cafes. The inhabitants of Tigre are mostly wealthy Argentines who love to live beautifully. The sights that we will see during our tour are the San Isidro area, the Presidential Residence (Quinta de Olivos), the building of the Marine Racing Club, built in the 19th century. Full day excursion to the Ranch and Fiesta Gaucha We leave the city and find ourselves in distant times at the ranch for the whole day. Upon arrival at the ranch, we will try homemade empanadas. Then we go to explore the surrounding area, attractions and go horseback riding. After a walk around the ranch, we will be served “asado”, a traditional Argentinean barbecue, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as dessert with coffee or tea. After lunch there will be a cultural part, which consists of folklore dancing, and of course, a tango show. The highlight of the tour will be a show during which the gauchos show off their skills. They will demonstrate their skills in throwing a lasso and jumping over barriers. You can also participate in interactive games. After a day full of impressions, we return to Buenos Aires. Tour schedule: 11:00 - Buffet with empanadas and wine at the pulperia (a traditional Argentine bar) on the ranch. 11:30 am – Free time for walks around the area and activities. Visit to a local museum and church; horseback riding. 13:00 - Lunch time. Traditional Argentine barbecue with salads. Your choice of soft drinks, beer, red or white wine. For dessert - traditional pastries with coffee or tea. Next is a fascinating folklore show with traditional songs and dances, as well as tango. 15:00 - Gauchos will demonstrate their equestrian skills. 16:30 - Return to Buenos Aires. Tour to Uruguay, to the city of Colonia de Sacramento. Colonia de Sacramento is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its unique architecture. The city was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Our tour begins with a short boat ride on the Rio de la Plata. Already in the city we can enjoy a delicious lunch and then take a tour of the city on a tourist bus. The city is proud of its luxurious parks and gardens, quiet streets and a promenade that stretches all the way to the Real de San Carlos with its bullring. Free time for new independent discoveries in Colonia de Sacrametno.
