General

The area of Georgia is 69,700 sq. km. This means that if you wish, in just three to four hours you can drive from the seaside resort of Batumi to the ski resort in Mountainous Adjara to go skiing. The UNESCO World Heritage List currently includes three sites in Georgia: the historical monuments of Mtskheta, the Gelati Monastery near Kutaisi, and the Upper Svaneti region. Another 16 objects are among the candidates for this list.

Climate

The gentle, warm Black Sea determines a very mild climate in winter - the temperature almost never drops below +5. The high Caucasus Mountains do not allow cold winds from the north to pass through. Subtropics, and here you have all kinds of exotic fruits almost all year round. Another thing is where there are mountains and the sea, there is always high humidity, 2000 mm of precipitation per year is far from the limit. Rains are frequent here, they pour like buckets, but they pass quickly.
