Excursion tour "In the footsteps of great civilizations"

After breakfast (08-15) the journey begins, you go to the capital of Turkey, Ankara! (~450 km) Today you will see the huge Ataturk Museum - a place where everything related to the Turkish Republic is collected: from the exclusive cars of its founder Ataturk, to huge panoramas reconstructing the events of Turkey’s war for independence in the 20s of the last century. Then we visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, where for the first time in your life you will see objects made by people forty thousand years ago. Walk along the walls of the Ankara fortress and then go to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel restaurant (19-00 - 20-00).

After resting at the hotel and having breakfast (08-15), you drive to Cappadocia (~250 km). Along the way, you will have a stop at the shores of the second largest salt lake in Turkey. Today your acquaintance with Cappadocia begins. You will see the most beautiful view on Earth - a huge mountain plateau dotted with churches, monasteries and houses in the rocks. You will visit the Valley of Love, Valley of Fairies, Valley of Pigeons and much more. In the evening, for an additional fee, you will be offered to attend a Dervish night performance. (21-00 - 22-00). Dinner at the hotel (19-00 - 20-00).

At dawn, for an additional fee, you will have the opportunity to fly in a hot air balloon. After breakfast (departure at 08-15 - 08-30), your acquaintance with Cappadocia will continue, you will visit valleys with unique rock formations, the underground city of Kaymakli, the Goreme monastery complex with its unique frescoes in dozens of churches carved directly into the rocks. You will visit a ceramics workshop, where unique products will be created before your eyes (and you can try to make a vase on a pottery wheel with your own hands!). You will have the opportunity to see how the famous Turkish carpets are woven and see the “flying carpet” with your own eyes. Dinner and rest at the hotel (17-00 - 18-00). If you want, an incendiary “Turkish Night” awaits you (21-30 - 23-30).

Breakfast (departure at 08-15 - 08-30). First stop at 09-00 - 10-30 (sanitary). Travel to Konya (~220 km), after which – a walk through the Mevlana religious complex. Mevlana is an ancient eastern monastery, a haven of monks, poets and philosophers. Center of Sufi Culture. It was founded by Mevlana Rumi himself - his role in the poetry of the East is as great as Pushkin’s in Russian. Only Rumi is also the founder of the order of dervishes - dancing monks. (Departure from Konya at 12-00 - 14-00. Lunch - 14-00 - 16-00. Second stop - 16-00 - 18-00). You can digest the impressions of Mevlana during your trip to Pamukkale. (~420 km) And after it you will have dinner at the hotel and have a good rest (arrival at the hotel - 18-00 - 20-00).

From the very morning after breakfast (departure from the hotel at 08-00 - 08-15) you will see the huge ancient cemetery of Hierapolis. The huge crypts, which have kept cool and dark for twenty centuries, will amaze you with their size. And after them you will get to the travertines! Beautiful white mountains, along which hot mineral water flows, with a huge number of natural pools... For an additional fee (cost 65 liras) you can swim in Cleopatra’s pool (departure from Pamukkale - 11-30 - 12-00. Lunch - 12- 30. Sanitary stop - 14-30). Next, transfer to the ancient city of Selcuk. (~ 190 km) Here Ephesus awaits you, one of the centers of early Christianity, the Church of St. John and the House of the Virgin Mary, where you can make a wish (it will definitely come true!) and the remains of the Temple of Artemis, burned by Herostratus... (arrival in Ephesus at 15 -30 – 16-00). You will stay in a cozy hotel on the seafront in Kusadasi. Dinner. (18-00 - 19-00) After dinner, you can stroll around the city and breathe in the smell of the Aegean Sea.

Breakfast (departure from the hotel at 08-00 - 08-15. An hour later - Izmir (travelling). 13-00 - lunch) Transfer to Pergamon (~ 190 km). After relaxing at the hotel, you will visit the capital of the Kingdom of Pergamon, from whose name the word “parchment” comes. And you will touch the walls of the ancient library, where for the first time (!) a book appeared in the world in its current form. From there you will get to the luxurious temple of Emperor Trajan, see the foot of the altar of Zeus and the magnificent mountain theater, the auditorium of which is located on a steep mountain slope... Today you will spend the night and have dinner in a cozy hotel on the seashore in the small town of Ayvalik. (Arrival 17-00 - 18-00)

In the morning, breakfast (check-out from the hotel at 07:30) and transfer to the legendary Troy. (~145 km). You will visit the very Troy that was captured thanks to the cunning Odysseus. You will see the field along which Achilles dragged the body of Hector behind his chariot. Visit the Troy Museum. Next you will cross the Dardanelles Strait. (12-00 - Canakkale. 13-30 - lunch. 16-00 Sanitary stop). And you will get to Istanbul, (~ 360 km) (19-00 - 20-00) where your journey will end.
