Excursion tour "Madagascar: Full Island Coverage on Domestic Flights"

After breakfast, we head to the airport and fly to Morondava , a small coastal town that will be our first taste of real Madagascar. Here , sandy roads, wooden fishing boats and majestic baobabs create a unique atmosphere at the edge of the world.

🚙 The Avenue of the Baobabs is the first place we will stop. Dozens of giant trees lined up along the road look like scenes from a fairy tale . These ancient giants tower over the landscape, creating a mesmerizing scenery.

🌿 Kirindy Game Reserve – then we head to a nature reserve known for its rare inhabitants. For now, we are just checking into the lodge , enjoying the silence and solitude of the wild nature . In the evening , you can hear the night forest waking up , but the main acquaintance with the reserve will be tomorrow.

🚣 Canoe to Betania village – in the late afternoon we board traditional canoes and head through the mangroves to the fishing village of the Wetso tribe . Here, people live in thatched houses on stilts , fish, and lead the same lifestyle as their ancestors did hundreds of years ago . Children greet visitors with curiosity, and adults smile welcomingly.

🏨 Overnight at a lodge surrounded by a nature reserve, where we will have dinner under the starry sky and prepare for a busy next day.

🌿 Morning in the Kirindy Reserve – at this time of day the forest is especially alive: the first rays of the sun break through the foliage, and its inhabitants begin their activity.

🚶‍♂️ Walk in the park – accompanied by a guide, we go deep into the forest to meet its main inhabitants. Here you can see crowned sifakas that jump from tree to tree, as if hovering in the air. Owl lemurs hide among the branches, and on the ground you can see rare dwarf lemurs - the smallest primates in the world.

🦊 Meeting with a fossa - this is the only predator of the island, which even lemurs are afraid of. Graceful and agile, the fossa most closely resembles a miniature puma, and if we are lucky, we will be able to see it in its natural environment.

🚙 Return to Morondava – lunch at a local restaurant and a short break before the most impressive spectacle of the day.

🌅 Sunset on the Avenue of the Baobabs – the sun sinks below the horizon, filling everything around with fiery shades . Against the backdrop of this magical light, the ancient baobabs look even more majestic. This is one of the most photogenic places in the world , and today we will have the opportunity to enjoy it to the fullest.

✈ Flight to Antananarivo – the morning flight will take us back to the capital, from where we will immediately set off on a new adventure.

🚙 The road to Andasibe – the journey will take about 5 hours , but you won’t be bored: along the way we will see rice terraces, picturesque hills and traditional villages .

🦎 Reptile Sanctuary – a stop in a unique park where you can see huge chameleons , rare frogs and other exotic creatures.

🌙 Evening walk along the road in Andasibe Park – after checking into the lodge we will go for a walk in search of nocturnal lemurs and glowing insects .

🌿 Morning in the tropical forest begins with a cup of aromatic Madagascar coffee and the sounds of awakening nature. Today we will have a leisurely walk through the Analamazautra Park , where rare endemic animals are hidden, invisible at first glance.

🚶‍♂️ Trekking in the park (about 3 hours) – led by an experienced local guide, we go deep into the evergreen forests to meet their main inhabitants.

🐵 Indri-Indri lemurs are the largest species of lemurs found only here. They are known for their loud, whale-like calls that echo throughout the forest. We will be able to observe their life in the wild , see them jumping from tree to tree and communicating with each other.

🦎 A fantastic world of reptiles and birds - if we are lucky, among the vines we will see chameleons that masterfully blend into the surroundings, and in the treetops we will see colorful endemic birds , filling the forest with their melodic voices.

🐵 Meeting other species of lemurs – on our way we may encounter crowned sifakas , gracefully moving along the branches, brown lemurs and even the secretive bamboo lemur .

🚙 Moving to Wakuna Park (Lemur Island) – a real adventure awaits us here. This private park, surrounded by water, has become home to friendly lemurs who happily jump on tourists’ shoulders in the hope of a treat.

📸 Magnificent photos and selfies with lemurs are a unique opportunity to interact with animals , feel their soft paws in your hands and take incredible shots.

🚗 Transfer to Akanin Nufi - another amazing place where nature and animals merge into one.

🌿 After breakfast, we say goodbye to the tropical forests of Andasibe and head back to the capital. However, our journey is not over yet - one of the most unusual stops is ahead!

🚙 On the way to Antananarivo we will visit the exotic Maruzevu Park , which is also called Pereiras Park in honor of its founder. This unique reserve is a real oasis of endemic animals , many of which are secretive and unnoticeable in the wild.

🦎 Getting to know chameleons – here you can see how they change color , and also watch their lightning-fast movements during feeding.

🐊 Crocodiles, geckos, bats and rare frogs – this park is home to a huge number of reptiles and amphibians that are found only in Madagascar.

🐛 Madagascar centipede and "drunken" lemurs - a curious fact: lemurs lightly bite the centipede's head, causing the release of a poison with a high content of alkaloids, which affects them in the same way as alcohol affects humans . Watching their reaction is a real show!

🦔 Madagascar tenrec hedgehogs - these small animals look like our hedgehogs, but are actually ancient endemics of the island.

🚗 Continuation of the journey to Antananarivo , where we will have some time to rest.

🏨 Check-in at the hotel, free time and preparation for the flight to Nosy Be the next day .

✈ Today we exchange dense forests for snow-white beaches – early morning flight to Nosy Be , the main resort island of Madagascar.

🏝 As we land, we see the ocean shimmering with shades of azure , and small islands scattered across the endless expanse of water like precious stones.

🚖 After transfer and check-in at the hotel, we finally find ourselves on the white sand , where we can relax, plunge into the clear water and feel like we are in paradise .

🚤 Early departure by speedboat – today we head to one of the most picturesque islands in the world – Nosy Iranja .

🏝 Nosy Iranja is two parts of the island connected by a sand spit that goes under water during high tide and appears during low tide. This view is one of the most impressive in the world .

🐢 Here you can meet sea turtles that swim right up to the shore. You can put on a mask and swim next to them , watching them slowly glide through the azure waters.

🏡 Visit to a fishing village - here people live in harmony with nature , fishing and not using the benefits of civilization. We will be able to see traditional houses , try real islander dishes and communicate with hospitable locals.

🍽 Lunch with the sound of the waves – the freshest seafood, tropical fruits and a view of the endless ocean will make this day perfect.

🚤 Return to Nosy Be

🌅 In the evening – trekking to Mont Passo , from where a panoramic view of the island opens up. The sunset here is simply magical : the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon, painting the sky in bright pink and orange shades , and the ocean becomes a mirror reflecting the last rays of the day .

💦 Today you can completely relax - this is a day dedicated to peace and enjoying nature .
