GDL Airport Overview

What to expect

Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport (IATA: GDL) is compact yet modern, consisting of a single passenger terminal split into Concourses A and C. Travelers will find a decent range of eateries and retail outlets both land- and airside, with several venues operating round-the-clock. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout and power points are dotted at most gates. Anyone wanting to elevate their layover can purchase one-time access to several pay-per-use lounges operated by VIPort and Aeroméxico.

Sleeping in Guadalajara Airport

Most seating is fitted with armrests, but travellers report a handful of oversized couches near Gate C28. Bring insect repellent – mosquitos are the number-one complaint in overnight reviews. If you prefer uninterrupted rest, a cluster of hotels sit within ten minutes of the terminal; jump to the Hotels section for full details.
