After breakfast, you will be taken by motorcycle to the park - here the walking journey begins - the conquest of Roraima - along the gentle hills of the savannah, through shallow rivers to the Indian settlement of Paray - Tepuy, of the Pemon Indian tribe. Along the way, you will have an unforgettable view of the mountains of Roraima Tepui and Kukenan Tepui. Lunch on the way. Then the tracking begins. Crossing the Tek River after which you will reach the Kukenan River. During the rainy season from June to December, the river level is high and the current is so strong that you will need to wade across the river bed using a rope. Next you will climb through the valley to the base of Mount Roraima and spend the night in tents in a camp located in a low-lying area where tropical birds and fireflies live. Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set off along the only possible route that crosses diagonally the base of the Roraima mesa. The narrow path winds its way between mountain rain forests with small streams and rivers, surrounded by virgin flora: hummingbirds, beautiful orchids. Closer to the foot of the mountain, the variegated vegetation gives way to bushes and alpine mosses and ferns growing among the stones. Here the trail leads to the “Two Tears” waterfall, which falls almost onto the road, from one of the rocks of Roraima Tepui. If it has recently rained and the flow of water is too strong, you will be drenched from head to toe! Next, “living stones” await you, you never know what to expect from them... be careful! And now, quite a bit, and you are at the top of Roraima... where you continue your way to the massive rocks, to one of the “hotels”, namely, a canopy protruding from the rock. Weather conditions at the top of the tepui are unpredictable; unexpected storms that cover the sky with heavy clouds occur here at any time of the year. In the morning, travelers will explore the tepuya plateau of Roraima. Accompanied by a guide, you will walk through intricate formations of rocks, canyons with amazing mountain vegetation that has taken root right on the stones, in some places colored by large quartz crystals scattered here and there right under your feet. The charm of quartz is complemented by pink sand on which the crystals lie. During the rainy season, small lakes form between the rocks, in which you can see black toads, endemic to Mount Roraima. Almost everywhere here grows the cosmic flower "stegolepis guianensis" with a dense fan of leaves and a spike-shaped flower that fluoresces in the moonlight. Almost half of the plant species, including some varieties of orchids, are unique and are not found anywhere else on the planet. Return to camp. Dinner. Rest. Night in tents. Arrival in Campamento with a view of the bizarre and breathtaking - Auyan Tepuy, the appearance of which is constantly changing before our eyes. Light lunch. Then we head towards the Devil's Canyon. After breakfast, you will take a walk through the virgin forest and in about an hour you will find yourself at an observation deck at the edge of the cliff, from which the highest waterfall on Earth will open just a few meters from you! We freeze, shocked by the magnetism of this grandiose spectacle - almost a kilometer of falling water! Local guides will additionally offer you a swim in the lagoon at the foot of the waterfall! Traditional Indian lunch. Return to the Canaima lagoon, walk along the island of Anatolia, named after the Russian explorer of these places. A breathtaking adventure awaits you as you pass the majestic Sapo Falls, between the rock and the powerful curtain of water that forms the Carrao River. A walk on a “curiara” along the picturesque Canaima lagoon, into which the Acha, Ukaima, Golondrina and Wadaima waterfalls flow. Great photo opportunities! Arrival in Campamento. Visit to the village of Pemon (music and dance program of the Pemon tribe, buying souvenirs, tasting local cuisine: termite or ant sauce, Moriche palm caterpillars, Kasabe yuca bread).
