Your acquaintance with Nicaragua will begin with a tour of the city of Managua, where we will introduce you to the culture and history of this country through the parks, squares and historical sites of the capital of the Republic. Situated on the shores of Lake Xolotlan, Managua has been the capital of Nicaragua since 1852. During the tour of the capital, we will visit the historical center of the city, as well as such important attractions as the Central Park, the ruins of the Santiago Cathedral, the National Palace of Culture and the Ruben Dario Theater. In addition, we will visit the Tiscapa Historical Park, where you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the city, lake and Tiscapa Lagoon. Then we will go to the city of Leon. Just before arrival, we will visit Pompeii - the old city of Leon, built by the Spaniards in 1524 and abandoned in 1610 due to the eruption of the Momotombo volcano. After this stop, we will continue to the new city of Leon, where we will visit the largest church in Central America, the Ruben Dario Museum, the Ortiz Gurdian Museum and the frescoes of the revolution. Granada is known as the oldest colonial city in continental America, having survived pirate attacks, civil wars, fires and many other events in its rich history, dating back to its founding in 1524. We will begin this tour full of history by visiting the Central Square, the Cultural Center de los Leones, the Central Cathedral, the Church of La Merced and La Calzada. We then head to Masaya Volcano National Park, the country's first and largest national park, to explore the impressive Masaya Volcano and its active crater. We will then visit the famous Masaya handicraft market. Overnight at the La Gran Francia Hotel. (Meal:3)

The tour will begin with you being transferred to the port where you will board a boat for a tour of Lake Nicaragua and its famous islands. Please note that there are 365 islets that were created by the eruption of the Mombacho volcano. During your trip, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna of this natural paradise, as well as its relaxing atmosphere! You will then arrive at the private island of Zopango, located opposite the Mombacho volcano. Here you can swim, explore the island, bird watch or relax in a hammock with breathtaking views of Mombacho Volcano. Enjoy a delicious grilled lunch of freshly prepared local fish. Our journey to Ometepe Island begins with a ferry ride from the pier in the city of Sao Jorge. Then we will reach a magical place: Ojo de Agua. Ojo de Agua is a natural spring filled with crystal clear water from an underground river that originates at the foot of the Maderas volcano. Overnight at Hotel Villa Paraiso (Meals: 3)

Transfer and ferry to the port of San Jorge. Excursion to the Mombacho volcano (cable car through the nature reserve). The Mombacho volcano is known as the guardian of the colonial city of Granada. Its highest point is more than 1300 meters above sea level. The volcano is covered with thick clouds and creates a unique microclimate for this region. The forest growing on its slopes has been part of the natural reserves of Nicaragua since 1999. Traveling along the coffee plantations located on the slopes of the volcano, we will find ourselves from the dry savannah to the region of the tropical cloud forest. Once at the summit, you can walk on your own along the 2.5 km trail with descriptive panels and information about the route. Along the way you will discover unusual species of orchids, ferns, butterflies, birds and, if the weather is good, you will be able to enjoy fantastic views of Granada and its surrounding countryside.
