Let's have breakfast at the hotel! To continue our tour, we will go beyond the outskirts of Baku to Mount Yanardag, which translates as “burning mountain”. Here, for several centuries, people have been observing an amazing natural phenomenon - flames shooting out of the ground. Such objects are often found on the territory of Azerbaijan, and in the Middle Ages they attracted the attention of people professing Zoroastrianism. Not far from Baku, followers of this religion created a large settlement in which they lived and worshiped fire. Today, in the Ateshgah temple complex, the life and culture of the Zoroastrians has been meticulously restored; on the excursion you can learn about them in great detail. In the afternoon we will return to Baku.

Let's have breakfast at the hotel! Today our tour will continue outside of Baku. We will go to the Gobustan cultural and archaeological reserve, where you can see rock paintings that were created in the Paleolithic. After this, we will visit another unique site - the oldest oil fields of Azerbaijan. The discovery of “black gold” in the vicinity of Baku in the middle of the 19th century led to a revolution in the development of not only Azerbaijan, but also the entire Transcaucasus. You will learn about this event and see the first derrick in the history of oil production. By evening we will return to Baku.

Let's have breakfast at the hotel! On this day we will go on an exciting journey through the regions of Azerbaijan. Our first stop is the mausoleum of the imperishable elder Diribaba, which was built in the 15th century and is a unique architectural masterpiece with unique sacred meaning. After this, we will have a short walk through the picturesque city of Shamakhi. You probably remember Pushkin’s Shamakhan queen, whose origins go back to this beautiful place - the capital of the once great Khanate. Here we will visit the tomb of the rulers of the Shirvanshahs and one of the oldest mosques in the entire Caucasus. By evening we will arrive in the city of Sheki, where the cozy and stylish MinAli Boutique Hotel is waiting for us, where we can relax and enjoy all the amenities.

Let's have breakfast at the hotel! Our morning walks continue, and this time we will go to Sheki - one of the most ancient settlements in Azerbaijan. Here we will visit the summer palace of the local khan, which was lavishly decorated by medieval craftsmen with “shebeke” - patterns made of colored glass and wooden blocks, connected without the use of nails or glue. Sheki is famous for its special sweetness - Sheki baklava, prepared according to ancient recipes that have not changed over the centuries. During our excursion we will learn about the features of its preparation technology. Then we will go to the village of Kish, where there is an early Christian Albanian church. On the territory of the temple, burials of people significantly different from the local population were discovered. In the evening we return to the hotel.
