Day 4: Rio de Janeiro Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. A place where a myriad of bars and clubs are concentrated for every taste. Crowds of young people walking and having fun and not only! Music of various styles from techno to live ethnic flows from all sides. The national music of Brazil is infinitely diverse - from African, brought here by black slaves, to bossa nova, created in the middle of the last century by white composers. With a backdrop of cobblestone streets, ancient monasteries and the old Arcos de Lapa viaduct, it offers a free-form social environment. If you want to have a fun night and are not afraid of adventure, this is the place for you! Lapa's nightlife can't even be called bars. This is a suite of dance halls - leaving one to move to another, you find yourself in a dense festive crowd. The main local drink is the caipirinha, a mixture of cachaça cane vodka, lime juice, ice and sugar. Secrets of old Rio (4 hours individually, minimum 2 people, with a Russian-speaking guide) During this tour you will discover the secrets of old Rio de Janeiro. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will travel to the historical center of the city, where you will learn the history of Rio de Janeiro, its colonial past, rituals and churches. and the origin of the name Rio de Janeiro, which was founded in 1565. On this walk through the historical center of the city you will see many monuments left over from the past, such as the Church of Candelaria, built in 1775, and the Monastery of San Bento, where the best examples of the Baroque style were embodied. Visit the famous Lapa Arches, which were built in 1732 and are used as an aqueduct to bring water from the Carioca River to the city center. The city still preserves the spirit and architecture of German settlers - houses with pointed roofs and attics, high windows. After the war, survivors came to Rio de Janeiro to demand payment. They settled on Providence Hill and remained there to live. They named it favela hill in memory of their battle. There are narrow, dirty streets winding along them, along which stinking ditches stretch. There are 700 favelas in Rio. It's not just thieves and drug dealers who live in favelas. There are technicians and employees here, and you can even rent a room. You can get here with the permission of the local godfather. The police don't come here. On the narrow streets there is a lively street trade. There is also a free market for food and handicrafts. It has its own internal laws. By jeep you will travel through the Rocinha areas and return to the hotel. Botanical Garden (4 hours individually, minimum 2 people, with Russian-speaking guide) The Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. It was founded by the Portuguese king Joao VI century. 1808, immediately after his arrival from Portugal. And on any day it is a green oasis of peace and quiet. All the alleys are lined with centuries-old palm trees; there is an amazing collection of subtropical and tropical plants from all over the world. Some of the plant specimens present here are endangered species. And in the lake, the Royal Giant Lilies (Lago das Vitórias Régias) attract the eye. Night Rio: Mulatto show (4 hours individually, minimum 2 people, with a Russian-speaking guide) You will spend an unforgettable night in Rio! Accompanied by a guide, you will go from the hotel to watch a show full of fiery Brazilian dances: samba and capoeira performed by very slender and beautiful mulattoes. During the show you will be able to order dinner. After the end of the guided show, you will return to your hotel. Flight over Rio by helicopter The helipad is located on Sugar Mountain or Lagoa, where, accompanied by an instructor, you will fly over Rio de Janeiro. Flight duration is 8-10 minutes.
