Route description

We have developed a tour program that is great for small groups as well as individuals

1day
Day 1: Arrival in Socotra – exploring the island and the marine reserve

After a long flight, we finally land on Socotra , one of the most unique islands in the world . We are met by a local guide, and after a short introduction, we head to the island's capital, Hadibo , to rest a little after the road and have lunch at a local restaurant. Here you can try traditional dishes made from fresh seafood, and also enjoy the hospitality of the locals.

After lunch we head to our first stop, the Dihamri Marine Reserve . This is one of the best snorkeling and diving spots in Socotra , as it is home to one of the richest coral reefs in the archipelago.

As soon as we arrive in Dikhamri, we are greeted by a stunning view: clear blue water, fishing boats scattered along the shore and cozy bamboo huts where we will spend the night. After a short rest, we can go explore the underwater world.

The coastal waters of Dikhamri are protected by a reef that is home to a variety of marine life . Here you can see:
Parrotfish with bright colors
Moray eels hiding among the corals
Rays gracefully gliding along the bottom
Turtles , if you're lucky
✔ Various types of sea urchins and tropical fish

For those who want to dive deeper into the underwater world, there is a diving center called Dihamri Diving Center , where you can rent equipment and take a full dive.

After a busy day, we will have an open-air dinner right on the ocean shore. We will be able to watch the sunset , which turns the sky into a red-orange canvas, listen to the sound of the waves and enjoy the first night on this amazing island .

We will spend the night at a campsite on Dihamri beach , so that in the morning we can continue our journey into the depths of Socotra.
