What to see in New York outside of Manhattan?

Most tourists believe that all the attractions of New York are concentrated in Manhattan, but this is not at all true. Here's what you can see in four other districts of this city.

The island's most important attraction is the Richmond Town Historic District. The complex includes New York City's oldest continuously operating family farm and the oldest residential buildings in the country. Traditional celebrations are often held here.

The Statue of Liberty was New York's first structure to greet visitors to the harbor. There is a museum inside the pedestal of the monument, and at the top there is an observation deck with a magnificent view of the water.

Brooklyn is the city's most cinematic place. The area can be seen in many famous films, most often crime films. At one time, the two-kilometer Brooklyn Bridge was the largest suspension bridge in the world. And the first of its type in the USA.

Brooklyn Heights is one of the last sections of the metropolis in classic development. Victorian buildings, traditional brownstones, gardens and wide avenues provide a quaint atmosphere.

The most interesting places are the Long Island waterfront , MoMA PS1 and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park , which hosts the US Open tennis tournament.
