The storm hit Tuesday night. The hotels got booked by phone, and the receipts are still in the truck.
Travel Code is travel and expense software for contractors who send crews out on short notice. It books rooms for a whole crew in a small town in minutes and calculates GSA per diem by project. Receipts get coded to the work order before the month closes.

- SOC 2 Type II
- IATA / ARC accredited
- Visa card issued by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC
- 24/7 support inside the app
“Storm response means the ops manager books 14 rooms off his cell at midnight. We find out the rate when the statement comes.”
Booked by phone, no rate control“Per diem is paid with the paycheck and reconciled never. The utility's audit asked for backup on 300 days of per diem and we had 40.”
No audit trail14 rooms in Lake Charles at 11 pm, from one screen.
Independent hotels in small towns are in the inventory alongside the chains. Book the whole crew at one rate, see the cancellation terms before you confirm, and move the crew to the next town when the work moves.

Per diem for a 14-day job, calculated from GSA rates for the site and the days actually on it.
Partial travel days at 75% and the day the crew got called home early land in the same calculation. Each line shows the rate, the project and who approved it.

Fuel, parts and meals get coded to the work order without anyone typing them in.
The tech takes a photo in the truck. We read it, match it to the trip and the card, and code it to the work order in your GL. Keep your fuel cards; our card is optional.

Pay for storm work on day 60, not the night you book it.
The Travel Code card gives you 60-day terms and cashback on travel, so emergency work doesn't have to be funded before the utility pays. The card is optional. Keep your fuel cards and current cards.

“We replaced three vendors with Travel Code: the travel agency, the expense tool and the card program. The CFO now has a single number for travel spend.”

Questions your controller will ask
Can we book a crew at 11 pm without calling anyone?
Yes. The ops manager books the block in the app. If it's above the GSA lodging rate it waits for approval; otherwise it's confirmed on the spot. Support is inside the app 24/7 if a hotel pushes back.
Does it handle partial travel days?
Yes. Per diem is calculated for the days on site, with first and last travel days at 75%.
Can we code to work orders and cost codes?
Yes. The work order and cost code follow the trip from the booking to the receipt to your GL export.
We run fuel cards. Do we have to drop them?
No. Keep them. Our card is optional and sits alongside your fuel cards.
Does it connect to Viewpoint, Sage or our ERP?
Not natively yet. We export to your GL and have an API and webhooks, so your team or an integrator can connect it. If a native integration is a must-have, tell us on the call.
What does the AI actually do with our money?
The AI reads receipts and suggests. It never moves money. A rule does, and a person approves. Every payment and GL entry shows which rule passed it and who signed off.
Who issues the card?
Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC, through Pliant. It's a Visa. Virtual cards are available now; physical cards are coming soon.
What if you get acquired, or we want to leave?
There's no multi-year contract and you can export all of your data whenever you want. Cancel the plan and you keep everything.
Bring one real work order to the demo.
A crew, a site and a date range. We'll book the rooms, work out the per diem and code a receipt while you watch.
After the call
Send us your per diem policy and GL chart of accounts. Your next crew can travel on it the following week.
