Per diem still lives in a Friday spreadsheet.
Travel Code is travel and expense software for contractors with crews on the road. It calculates GSA per diem for each job site and codes receipts to the job, so the month closes on time. Crew hotels are booked as one block at one rate.

“The PM updates per diem on Friday, from memory. We find the mistakes when the crew complains.”
Manual, after the fact“The crew hotel was booked by phone. Nobody knows the cancellation terms, and receipts come in as photos on the super's phone.”
Month closes 2–3 weeks latePer diem calculated from GSA rates for each job site and date range.
Partial travel days are handled at 75%. Each amount shows the rate it came from, who approved it and the job it went to. That's the record an IRS accountable-plan audit or a government-contract review asks for.

12 rooms for 6 weeks, at one rate, in one booking.
Book extended stays for a whole crew, including independent hotels in small towns. When the schedule slips, extend the block from the same screen.

Job-site receipts get coded to the job without anyone typing them in.
The super takes a photo. We read it, match it to the trip and the card, and code it to the job in your GL. About five in six clear on their own. The rest come to you with the reason they stopped.

Pay for crew travel 60 days later, after the progress payment comes in.
The Travel Code card gives you Net-60 terms and cashback on travel. It's optional. Keep your current cards and fuel cards if you'd rather.

“We replaced three vendors with Travel Code: the travel agency, the expense tool and the card program. The CFO now has a single number for travel spend.”

What per-seat pricing costs once crews travel
Per-seat tools charge for every field employee who travels. We charge a flat monthly fee.
$0, $100 or $290 a month. Any number of travelers.
Booking and travel policies, to try it out.
For per diem, crew hotels and receipts.
Advanced policies and roles for larger finance teams.
On top of the plan, there's a per-ticket service fee on flights and train tickets. It's shown before you book.
Questions your controller will ask
Does it handle GSA rates and partial travel days?
Yes. We pull the rate for the site and the dates, and first and last travel days are calculated at 75%. You can see the source for every number.
Can we code to job numbers and cost codes?
Yes. The job number and cost code follow the trip from booking to the receipt to your GL export.
Does it connect to Procore, Viewpoint or Sage?
Not natively yet. We export to your GL and have an API and webhooks, so your team or an integrator can connect it. If a native integration is a must-have, tell us on the call.
What does the AI actually do with our money?
The AI reads receipts and suggests. It never moves money. A rule does, and a person approves. Every payment and GL entry shows which rule passed it and who signed off.
Can we keep our current cards and fuel cards?
Yes. Keep them. Our card is optional and sits alongside your current cards and fuel cards.
Who issues the card?
Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC, through Pliant. It's a Visa. Virtual cards are available now; physical cards are coming soon.
What if you get acquired, or we want to leave?
There's no multi-year contract and you can export all of your data whenever you want. Cancel the plan and you keep everything.
We use Concur, Expensify or a travel agency. How long does switching take?
Ram International Shipping moved off their travel agency in 9 days. Most teams send their first trip through it within a week.
Bring one real job to the demo.
A crew, a site and a date range. We'll work out the per diem and book the hotel block while you watch.
After the call
Send us your travel policy and GL chart of accounts. Your next crew can travel on it the following week.
